The NAVITEL RS984 GPS is a premium DVR with impressive 4K recording quality, support for HDR mode, dual cameras, advanced security (ADAS, BSD and GPS informer) and Wi-Fi control. An excellent choice for those who want maximum confidence behind the wheel.
For maximum reliability and uninterrupted 4K recording, we recommend using V30/U3 memory cards from trusted manufacturers with a capacity of 128 GB or more — only with them your DVR will work smoothly, cyclic recording will become truly durable, and you will never miss an important moment on the road.
The DVR is equipped with an ultra-modern SONY IMX415 STARVIS sensor, which allows you to record video in 4K, 2K or Full HD resolution, providing a highly detailed picture both day and night. The wide viewing angle of 160° allows you to shoot the entire space in front of the car, even on a multi-lane highway. In addition, the kit includes a separate Full HD camera with a 120° viewing angle, which provides excellent monitoring of what is happening behind the car.
The advanced driver assistance system makes any trip around the city or highway safer and more comfortable. The smart driver assistance assistant ADAS* will warn you about the appearance of a pedestrian or about a dangerous approach to a car in front, notify you about the intersection of side markings, and at a traffic light or in a traffic jam, they will signal the beginning of traffic flow. When the rear-view camera is connected, BSD* functions will also be available, which are responsible for notifying about the risk of a rear-end collision and the presence of cars in "blind spots".
* Advanced Driver Assistance System is a system that helps drivers in various aspects of driving and improving road safety.
* Blind Spot Detection (Blind Spot Monitoring System) is a technology that helps drivers detect vehicles located in "blind spots", that is, in areas that are not visible in the rear—view mirrors.
The NAVITEL RS984 GPS is equipped with a built-in GPS antenna and a database of cameras and warnings, which allows this DVR to inform the driver about speed cameras, bus lanes, signs and other restrictions on your chosen path. This allows the driver to slow down or change lanes in a timely manner.
The NAVITEL RS984 GPS DVR has a built-in shock sensor (G-sensor) that protects against overwriting video taken in emergency situations. In the event of a sudden maneuver or impact on the car, the system saves a video clip of the event to a secure folder on the memory card. The sensor will work even if the car's ignition is turned off. Parking mode* in the DVR allows you to record events during short or long parking when you are not in the cabin and the car is turned off.
* The mode is only available when connected to a permanent power supply device via a device that prevents excessive battery discharge NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX.
You can control this device either by pressing the buttons on its body or using the NAVITEL DVR Center application. Connect your smartphone to the DVR, download the video and instantly share it on social networks and messengers. It also allows you to remotely control settings and stream videos directly to your phone.
The program Navitel DVR Player for PC (Windows only) allows you to view captured videos, track the location of the car on the map at any time of recording, and convert video files in a convenient format.
The NAVITEL RS984 DVR comes with a voucher* for the NAVITEL Navigator app, which includes an annual subscription to receive detailed maps of more than 45 countries around the world.
* The key is only compatible with NAVITEL Navigator for Android devices.
