NAVITEL R87 GPS is a multifunctional car DVR with a GPS antenna that provides real-time information for the Camera Alert and Digital Speedometer functions. The device is also equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and a new generation SONY IMX sensor for excellent video quality in all lighting conditions. The SONY IMX675 sensor records videos at 30 FPS in 2.7K resolution at 2592 x 1944 pixels, making the camera stand out from any other 2K device. The unique STARVIS 2 technology from SONY, which this device is equipped with, ensures excellent image quality even in the worst lighting conditions.
The NAVITEL R87 GPS car DVR is Wi-Fi compatible, so how you control it is a matter of preference. You can either use the built-in buttons or simply download our app to your iOS or Android device. This app allows you to update firmware, manage settings, and save videos directly to your smartphone. For maximum convenience, the car DVR is equipped with a 3.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 412 x 960 pixels, which has wide viewing angles and also displays information provided by the Camera Alert and Digital Speedometer functions.
Six-layer combined optics allow the NAVITEL R87 GPS to record videos perfectly at any time of day. Thanks to its wide 150° viewing angle, the car DVR captures both roads and sidewalks. Its performance will not disappoint you even on multi-lane highways.
The GPS antenna is a key element of the device that allows you to display the current speed and warn the driver about approaching speed cameras, bus lanes and road signs. When approaching such objects, the recorder automatically beeps and displays information on the screen, helping the driver to be prepared for changes in the road situation.
On the road, the built-in G-sensor is triggered by sudden maneuvers or bumps and saves the video to an overwrite-protected folder on the memory card. In parking mode, when the G-sensor is activated, emergency files will be recorded thanks to the 230 mAh battery.
The NAVITEL R87 GPS is compatible with the NAVITEL FULL HD rear camera, which can be purchased separately. This allows you to capture events happening not only in front of your car but also behind it*.

The NAVITEL R87 GPS can be controlled not only via the touchscreen display but also via Wi-Fi through the NAVITEL DVR Center application, which is designed for devices with Android or iOS operating systems. This application allows quick synchronization of your smartphone with the car DVR and remote management of its settings, firmware updates, viewing captured photos and videos, or saving them directly to your mobile device.
The R87 GPS camera with a built-in GPS informant automatically saves the route along with the video. After downloading and installing the Navitel DVR Player program on a computer, the user can not only view and edit the recorded video files but also display the movement route on a map. The program is only available for Windows computers.
The device comes with a one-year license key* for the Navitel Navigator application, which offers detailed maps of over 45 countries worldwide.
