NAVITEL MXR2700 is a universal dual-camera DVR mirror with GPS informer, signature radar detector, Wi-Fi control and a 5” touchscreen display. The device is made in a durable plastic case and is easily placed on top of the factory rear-view mirror with the help of reliable locks, which makes it almost invisible to prying eyes.
The NAVITEL MXR2700 is equipped with a high-precision GPS antenna that tracks the vehicle's location in real time and compares the information with a built-in database of cameras, public transport lanes and restrictions*. If a threat is detected en route, the device will notify the driver and show the distance to him. During operation, the device displays the current speed limit, the current speed of the car and information about road signs.
* Information about GPS coordinates of stationary and mobile radars and video cameras used in navigation software is purely informational in nature. The manufacturer cannot guarantee that the object databases pre-installed and updated in the GPS software fully match the current situation on the roads.
The DVR boasts not only a GPS informer, but also a signature radar detector function that scans radar and camera frequencies and warns the driver about them, even if geolocation is not working. Its database contains information about the operating ranges of most devices used in Russia, which makes it a reliable assistant both in your hometown and on a long trip.
The NAVITEL MXR2700 front camera is equipped with a SONY STARVIS 335 sensor with Night Vision technology, which allows you to shoot in 2K resolution in any conditions: on a sunny day in the city, and on an unlit night highway in rainy weather. Glass optics with a wide viewing angle of 140° accurately captures not only the road in front of the car, but also sidewalks and roadsides.
The device comes with an additional Full HD camera with a long cable, which allows you to mount it on the rear window and record everything that happens both in front and behind the car. The NAVITEL MXR2700 is equipped with a supercapacitor that can withstand extreme temperature changes and is resistant to power failures.
The large 5” IPS touchscreen display allows you to conveniently and quickly control the device's functions, change its settings, and view recorded videos and photos. It has wide viewing angles, so the image on it is not distorted, no matter how you look at it. You can also control the DVR via Wi-Fi by downloading the Navitel DVR Center application, which allows you to remotely change device settings, update firmware, as well as download and share videos on messengers and social networks.
The G-sensor built into the device will protect against overwriting videos made in emergency situations, whether it's a sudden maneuver or a blow to a car. When the impact sensor is triggered, the video clip of the event will be quickly saved to a folder protected from overwriting on a memory card with a capacity of up to 128 GB. Such files can only be erased manually, so no important details of the incident will be lost.
A"smart" flush-mounted cable allows you to install a DVR by hiding extra wires under the interior trim. In addition, it ensures that the device operates in parking mode without additional equipment by monitoring the operation of the G-sensor or recording timelapse at a user-set frame rate. The NAVITEL MXR2700 will always be ready to capture what is happening in front of the car, even if the ignition is off and there is no one in the car.
The NAVITEL MXR2700 GPS module not only warns the driver about cameras and restrictions on the road, but also automatically saves the coordinates of the car at the time of shooting. The program Navitel DVR Player for PC allows you to watch videos from the front and rear cameras, including separately, track movement routes on maps and export them, as well as edit video files.
