NAVITEL MR257 BLACK is a rear—view mirror with a DVR and an additional camera for capturing what is happening behind the car. The device is made in a black metal case and is easily placed directly on top of the factory rear-view mirror with the help of reliable elastic fasteners, which makes it almost invisible from the outside.
The NAVITEL MR257 BLACK supports two-channel recording in Full HD resolution (1920x1080p) and saves the footage to a memory card of up to 256 GB. The highly sensitive GC2053 (night vision) sensor, glass optics and a wide viewing angle of 160° allow you to record high-quality videos at any time of the day, covering not only the road, but also sidewalks and roadsides.
The optional Full HD camera included in the package allows you to capture events taking place behind the car. The camera is easily attached to the rear window of the car using 3M adhesive tape. The rear-view camera body rotates 350°, which allows you to shoot either the street or the interior of the car. Thanks to the included cable with a length of more than 5 m, the camera can be installed in a passenger car of any size. In addition, it can be connected to the reversing lamp*, and when the reverse is turned on, the DVR will automatically switch the image from the front to the rear camera to assist the driver when parking.
* Work on installing the camera and connecting the voltage +12 V is strongly recommended to be carried out by qualified personnel with the necessary skills.
NAVITEL MR257 BLACK is equipped with a G-sensor that prevents overwriting of video files made in emergency situations while driving or parking*. In the event of a sudden maneuver or impact on the car, the system will save the video of the event to a folder protected from overwriting on the memory card.
* Parking mode is only available with constant power supply, so when the ignition is off, we recommend using the power controller NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX, which prevents excessive battery discharge.
With Navitel DVR Player, the management of recorded videos and tracks has become even more convenient. On the PC screen*, each user can now view and edit the footage, speed up playback when necessary, and loop video fragments that need special attention.
