Map activation key  — the file, which is created when the map is registered. Its type is *.ntk and it is in the registered map folder.

Software activation key  — this is a text file, which the user gets during the registration: NaviTel Activation Key.txt — for the PDA version and NaviTelAuto Activation Key.txt — for the PND version.

Atlas  — a folder with the navigation maps, created by user (it can have a different name if a user want). When the customer gets "Navitel Navigator 3", he gets maps package and don't need unlock file for them: they are registered automatically during regisration or after you put software activation key in the program folder.

Indexation (Reindexation)  — procces of uniting maps for automatic routing works and for adding new information.

License key  — set of symbols, used to get full software or map version. License key for software contains 5 symbols in 1^st block, license key for map contains 7 symbols in it. When a user activates non-Region+ map, he needs to replace the old license key file with the new got one in the program folder.

Registration  — during this process you will get fill software or map version. During this process, the software and map activation keys are created.

PND ID (Flash card ID)  — set of chars and (or) numbers, which you can see when you start the unregistered version of Navitel Navigator.

PDA ID (device ID)  — set of chars and (or) numbers, which you can see when you start the unregistered version of Navitel Navigator.

Tracks  — set of points, logged while driving. Every point has its own coordinates and time. It is a driving log, created automatically and uneditable.
